The smart replacement for any centrifugal switch used on any motor type, voltage, power, RPM and frequency.

Our ECS is the smart replacement for any Mechanical-Centrifugal-Switch (MCS) associated to all models of single-phase start-capacitor-motor up to 5HP available in the market.

Thanks to its electronic design, our ECS is immune to the typical electromechanic deterioration associated with the MCS malfunctioning.

And every start-up time is mathematically calculated as a function of the motor type, voltage and loading condition.

ADVANTAGE

The DMS05U module works on any single phase motor up to 5HP(4KW)

CALCULATED

Every startup time is mathematically calculated as a function of the motor type,
voltage and loading condition.

DETECTED

On high cycling condition (ON/OFF/ON) the motor’s coasting speed is measured
avoiding any unnecessary startup or reduce it.

ELIMINATED

Problems associated with RPM tolerance, mechanic and electrical fatigue,
vibration, humidity, dust, etc. Are eliminated avoiding erratic motor startups.

AVOID

If there is a motor-locked condition during startup for more than 0.5s. The start circuit
opens avoiding motor overheats or burn out.

PROTECTS

If there is a motor-locked condition during normal operation. It will not be restarted unless the operator turns off the motor, find and fix the problem and turn it on again. Avoiding motor overheats or burn out that will otherwise occur due to a mechanical centrifugal switch trying to restart the motor.

INCREASE

Connection and disconnection of the start capacitor (CS) are made at zero crossing of its voltage and current. After motor’s startup, the start capacitor residual voltage is discharged increasing its life. No arcing contacts allowing safe operation on hazardous and explosion proof environments.

Hello, I would like to know what are the possible causes that burn or flame the platinums of an electric motor of 7hp the motor brings 4 capacitors 2 large capacitors and 2 small ones and what is the operation of the 4 capacitors without more for the moment I say goodbye.

The most typical causes that flare or burn the centrifugal plates in a single-phase motor are the incorrect value of the start capacitor .. It is usually very high and generates more current outside the electric angle where the torque is maximum .. That is, a lot of current with low torque which weakens the motor at start-up, it takes a long time and the starter coil overheats by overheating, raising its voltage too much. What generates arcs in the platinum. On the isovolt page. As in the products section, there is an application note that explains this very well.
Usually a series-parallel arrangement of capacitors is used to achieve the capacitance and voltage value appropriate to the start of the 7HP motor … That’s why you see 4 capacitors … It would be good to indicate their values and how they are connected to each other to help you in your case
